We do not profess to know everything there is about Trailhounds and we have taken lots of advice along the way. The idea was to help others considering the breed as a suitable dog and we hope you have found this site useful in some small way. Please check out the other sites shown on our home page, all of whom can help you with every aspect of owning a Trailhound. All that we can say is we have had some issues, but we have two of the loveliest dogs you can imagine and therefore whilst no guarantee of your own satisfaction, we can only recommend Trailhounds as a pet and companion (see our recommendations on the Trailhound Trust (now the Lakeland Trailhound Welfare) website as shown on our own Messages Board page).
