As so many people in Norfolk will remember my dear hound I thought I would tell you my beautiful hound Katie has gone. She was diagnosed with lymphoma in early July and I had to make the worst decision to let her go a month later before she choked to death. She was just 9 years old, no age for a trailie.

She was my loveliest dog ever, both in looks and nature and I miss her so much, especially as we did a lot of charity and educational work. I know that the children will all miss her too, she was a wondeful dog and did so much for the community with her work as a PAT dog and a READ dog and in her time since retiring from racing has seen over ten thousand children. A regular at Crufts and Discovery Dogs she even won the coveted Blue Peter Badge in March of this year, and her work with the Blue Cross Pets Charity will be sorely missed, Katie from Louth a wonderful gilr will be missed by one and all.
